Golf Society
The Dental and Medical Golf Society of Edinburgh was formed in 1994 by a group of Dentists and Doctors keen to have some regular "time out" on the golf course.
From an initial group of 6 , we have grown to our current membership of 28 comprising General Dental Practitioners , Orthodontists, General Medical Practitioners and Hospital Consultants.
We play one Friday per month from April to September on courses such as Downfield , Blairgowrie , Ladybank and Lundin Links , to name a few . We always play 36 holes with the full catering package. In addition to this we have an annual mini golf tour to Spain in October and also a Doctors vs Dentists Team match in November for bragging rights.
This year is a special year as it is our 20th Anniversary and to celebrate we are heading to South Carolina to play a "Ryder Cup" match against 12 of our American colleagues. The trip starts on Friday 25th April and you can follow it on ...
